Why Embroidery and not Screen Printing?
Embroidery is a much classier, longer lasting technique than Screen Printing. Although, Screen Printing does have it’s advantages when printing Tee shirts and sweatshirt at high volumes. Embroidery is a great way to save a little money for those 1 or 2 people companies. Embroidery doesn’t have the large set up costs to embroider a few pieces. In fact, most companies won’t even Screen Print less than twelve pieces without large set up fees. Custom Embroidery has a one time Digitizing fee. Our brand new Ricoma Embroidery machine needs to read a digitized file. This file tells the machine where to move and place every single stitch. A common left chest logo is about 5,000 to 10,000 stitches. So you can imagine the complexity of what goes into an Embroidery file. Wicked Apparel works with professional Embroidery Artists to insure the best looking stitching for you logo. Cost of an embroidery file can vary. We have many options to choose from. In many cases we will offer a free digitized file just for ordering with us.
